In the wake of media reports that the L.A. Convention Center could lose out on a 5,000-person convention due to AEG construction - squandering much in potential city revenue - Councilmember Paul Krekorian wrote to city administrators today asking for more clarity and protection for the city.
Krekorian plans to introduce a motion the week of Sept. 6 codifying his concern (detailed in the letter below) and seeking to curtail more cancellations as AEG prepares to tear down a portion of the Convention Center for their planned football stadium.
